Previously reports suggested that Krishan Kumar and Bhushan are taking over ‘Batti Gil Meter Chalu’ from Prernaa Arora. But, as per latest reports, the film has returned to shoot mood and the leads of the film Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor have now begun their shoot in Uttarakhand to resume the film.
Shahid has shot in Tehri for a long schedule in February. A source revealed “Shahid and Shraddha will be shooting at Tehri and Dehradun for some important sequences till mid- June. After that, they are to return to Mumbai to complete the last schedule. The duo is also scheduled to shoot a romantic number in Uttarakhand.”
Meanwhile, Shahid spoke about his film and said, “It sounds cool but it’s very difficult to pull off. My character is a small-town lawyer, a regular bloke who fights for an issue with which so many people in our country are grappling — power cuts and outrageously high electricity bills.”
