Anil Kapoor had shared some happy moments from 2007 launch Saawariya which marked the debut of his daughter Sonam Kapoor and Rishi’s son Ranbir Kapoor. The actor had shared some happy pictures of the event where Neetu and Rishi are in a celebratory mood. Rishi died on April 30 after battling cancer.

Anil shared the picture on his Instagram account and captioned it as “Remembering James… Sharing the launch of Sonam and Ranbir’s careers with Neetu and Rishi is one of the happiest memories of my life…” The first and last picture has Anil standing with Neetu, Rishi’s wife and Rishi posing with Anil’s wife Sunita. In another picture, Anil and Rishi are standing with Ranbir and Sonam.

The post was liked by many people including Arjun Kapoor, his nephew. The comments of some people were “Yep it was really a memorable moment” and Guess all this came to an end.” Saawariya received mixed reviews at the box-office and was directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Salman Khan made a special appearance in the movie and Rani Mukherjee had a major role in the movie.

Anil had shared a collage of Rishi and American actor James Dean when he passed away and wrote: “The reason I called Rishi Kapoor James was because according to me if there was anyone who looked as good as James Dean it was him…and he loved hearing that from me…he will always be James for me…”

Anil had also written an emotional note about the things he will miss the most. He shared a childhood picture of both and wrote “I don’t know where to begin…from growing up, to living our dreams on screen, we were together through it all… you were like an elder brother to me, a shoulder when I needed the support, a mentor when I needed that push and a friend always. Thank you for the endless love you gave my family & me. You were like a son to my mother and you knew that Krishna aunty was always like a mother to me… Along with everything that you were for your friends & family, you were a beacon of inspiration for cinema lovers everywhere… I will miss you every day…nothing will be the same without you…but I will celebrate your life as you wanted us to.”
