Without a fraction of doubt album of the year. Music of Karthik Calling Karthik is a smash hit from the very first time you listen to it. Shankar Ehsaan Loy once again delivers a smashing hit that will touch your hearts.  Music is the soul of any Bollywood movie and expectation from Karthik Calling Karthik has been raised considering the excellent soundtrack.

Lyrics of all the songs are written by the legendary Javed Akhtar. The first track in the album, “Hey Ya” is very catchy westernized number by Clinton Cerejo, Shankar Mahadevan & Loy Mendonsa. It is bound to be a chartbuster among youngsters. Remix version of the same song is also available in the album. The highlight of the soundtrack is a very youthful number by KK – “Jaane Yeh Kya Hua”. It won’t take long for the song to hit No 1 spot in all the countdowns. KK once again proves his dominance over singing romantic numbers in Bollywood. “Kaisi Hai Yeh Udaasi” is the only sad track in the album performed by Kailash Kher & Sukanya Purayastha. The dancing track of the album comes in the form of “Uff Teri Adaa” performed by Shankar Mahadevan & Alyssa Mendonsa.

Most of the songs of the soundtrack are bound to be hit and it’s a must buy for music lovers.
