Filmmaker Priyadarshan and Actor Akshay Kumar have done their bit to support the conditions in Kerala. The two have donated funds to the Chief Ministers Distress Relief Fund for the Kerala floods situation.
Priyadarshan tweeted a picture on his twitter account where he is seen handing over the cheque to the CM Pinarayi Vijayan. He also requested people to unite towards helping the State.
He wrote, “Handed over mine and Akshay Kumar’s cheque to Kerala Chief Minister’s Distress Relief Fund. Let’s together build back Kerala back to its glory again. No politics, no religion only humanity. Let’s stand together to save Kerala. Kerela floods,”
The death rate in Kerala has already been increased to 370.
