Vicky Kaushal is celebrating his birthday today and he was to start shooting for the most special film of his life from today. He said that the working birthdays are always good luck as they bring more work and if there was no lockdown, Kaushal would have reported Karan Johar on the sets of Takht.

Never thought that one would have to celebrate birthday alone in such a lockdown. Never even thought that life would come at such a turn ‘. The actor said on celebrating his birthday in childhood as, ‘There was no cell phone to take selfies and record the day of the birthday, nor Used to give them some pressure to post. Then the buns were free. Used to spend a good time with friends. It used to be happy.
He said “It was a dream to be a part of this period-drama. I’ve admired the work of all the artistes who are a part of this film.” The film features Alia Bhatt, Bhumi Pednekar, Ranveer Singh, Anil Kapoor, Jahnvi Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan.
Vicky is in the role of Aurangzeb and there are many confrontation scenes between his character and Ranveer Singh’s character Dara Shikoh in the narrative. The lockdown situation has created a health scare and the shooting of the film has been postponed. The actor will also be seen in Sardar Udham Singh, Field Marshal Maneckshaw and Ashwatthama apart from Takht.
