5 member forensic panel of AIIMS headed by Dr Sudhir Gupta has ruled out the murder theory in the final forensic report submitted to CBI who is probing the death of Sushant Singh Rajput. On 5th October 2020, AIIMS had issued a statement that they have submitted a copy of the post-mortem report directly to the CBI. In case of any queries over the actor’s death, it is advisable to ask CBI rather than the institute.
Dr Gupta also blamed Cooper Hospital doctors for not conducting a proper autopsy. Now, on 3rd October 2020, he has ruled out murder theory and declared the case to be a suicide. AIIMS team had already submitted their report based on the previous autopsy report along with a few photo evidence before the fresh statement by the doctor came out.
CBI is analysing the submitted report, trying to find out whether it is a suicide or murder. People close to the actor have been questioned, evidence has been collected and AIIMS expert opinions have been asked on the same. Sushant’s family has been utterly disappointed by the statement of the senior doctor and they are planning to ask CBI for a fresh panel of doctors to re-check the post-mortem reports. The actor died on June 14 in his Bandra flat in Mumbai.
