The story starts with Priyanshu who is looking for a lead female singer Tripti of a rock band named Molten Studio from Shillong and meets Anshul, his old school friend at a transport area in Shillong. Anshul is on a bike ride tour across the whole of North East India. Both incidentally stay at the same hotel where Priyanshu tells her the major reason behind his visit to Shillong.
After this, they visit a cafe to search for the singer from the band. However, she is not there much to their dismay. When they inquire about the band, they get to know that the band is following some other commitment and cannot perform or will stay in the city for a few days. Anshul also meets one of her cousins who asks her to go home.
Both Priyanshu and Anshul then move out of the cafe and tell their stories about why they had to take up this unusual tour on their own. Next day in the morning, Anshul needs to get ready for her solo bike ride and continue the journey further. Priyanshu is very excited to meet his crush Tripti and takes a taxi to a music studio where he has heard that Tripti is recording. However, he meets with an unfortunate accident with Anshul’s bike parked on the stand near the road.
Priyanshu apologizes for the incident and extends a helping hand towards her. As the bike repair is taking time, Anshul during their conversation on tea gets to know the reason as to why he was hurriedly going towards the taxi. They then finally decide to meet Tripti and go back to the music studio. To their bad luck, she is not there.
They could meet only their drummer lady in the studio who gave them the details of the band’s location and Anshul gets the contact number of the drummer. She also came to know that the band members have gone to attend a wedding in the outskirts of the city. Anshul and Priyanshu after having a long discussion go to meet the band riding together on her bike which delays her solo bike tour for some time.
The pint comes when they have to take a boat ride to Umpling and by mistake they reach Umbling and they to their luck meet a gentleman called Gary who informs them that the boats were not available till next morning. He gave them a nice place to sleep and good food to eat. Before they went to sleep, Gary tells them the truth about Tripti. The truth was that she is not single and had a daughter.
This news breaks Priyanshu who drinks local alcohol and becomes very emotional. Next morning, they wake up and wait for the boat to come which Gary had arranged for them. They apologize to each other after a small argument and expressed that they like each other. Priyanshu is not very sure of the fact whether she will stay back with him.
They had stayed in the same hotel room in Shillong because she left the hotel room as she was going to Imphal. Then comes a very romantic scene where they come really close but are stopped by a knock on the door from the service boy of the hotel. The next morning, she gets ready and leaves Priyanshu and starts her bike with a dull face where both are unsure and sad about leaving each other.
The first season ends with Anshul slowing her bike a few meters away from the hotel to everyone’s surprise. The background music with a French touch is really beautiful. Although the direction and screenplay are not very smooth due to dragging of a few screen frames. Shillong is a backdrop of the story which brings out the mood and romance in the story very beautifully.
