Kay Kay Menon is set to delight his fans with his latest project, a web series titled Murshid. In the series, which will soon be available on ZEE5, Kay Kay takes on the role of a gangster. The streaming platform has released a promotional teaser, where Kay Kay’s character is described as the ‘OG bhai’.
With a gripping and compelling plot that is sure to enthrall viewers, Shravan Tiwari’s seven-episode gangster thriller will debut on Zee5 on August 30, 2024. The series takes viewers on a journey through the gritty and suspenseful underworld of Bombay in the 80s and 90s, continuing into Mumbai in 2021. Murshid stars Kay Kay Menon and Tanuj Virwani, and boasts a remarkable cast that includes Zakir Hussain, Rajesh Shringarpure, and Anang Desai. Shravan Tiwari wrote the series’ script and Kunal Karan composed the music, which Sandip Patel and Sachin Bansal produced under the Fathom Pictures and Pramukh Film Production House banners.
