Zee5 recently launched the Nachiket Samant directorial, Comedy Couple Trailer. Produced under the banner of Yoodlee Films, Comedy Couple starts streaming on ZEE5 premium from 21st Oct onwards. Movie features Saqib Saleem & Shweta Basu Prasad in lead roles supported by Pooja Bedi, Rajesh Tailang & Pranay Manchanda. Going by the Comedy Couple Trailer, the movie appears to be a light heart rom-com.
Comedy Couple has been filmed mainly in Gurgaon & based on the backdrop of booming stand up comedy profession in the city. The film centres around a pair of comedy couples who are real-life partners as well. As one of their comedical acts goes viral, they clash in their professional & personal lives, generating painful realities & bitter realisation that they need to navigate in order to make sense of their bond. The script hopes to be a cleverly observed and informative guide to love & life in a busy city and to what is needed in it to thrive.
