Netflix has released the Ramin Bahrani directed The White Tiger trailer. Movie is an official adaptation of Aravind Adiga’s New York Times bestseller & Man Booker Prize-winning novel  which goes by the same name. Lead actors of The White Tiger include Adarsh Gourav, Priyanka Chopra & Rajkummar Rao. Among others, the movie also features Perrie Kapernaros, Nalneesh Neel, Vedant Sinha, Aaron Wan, Abhishek Khandekar & Harshit Mahawar. Amidst Covid pandemic, the movie will have selected theatrical release & will start streaming worldwide on Netflix from 22 January, 2021.

Movie is a social satire that examines issues such as injustice, corruption,survival and class conflict in India. The story is about the epic and humorous upliftment of Balram Halwai (Adarsh Gourav), from a poor town villager to a wealthy businessman in contemporary India. Balram takes up the work of a driver for a US returning couple, Ashok (Rajkummar Rao) and Pinky (Priyanka Chopra). He was invaluable to his masters because of his dutifulways and his psychological education towards becoming a successful servant. However in order to save themselves, the US return couple entrap Balram. Turning point of the movie is how Balram not only promises his independence but also an uprising against the class structure in India.
