Netflix India released the Class of 83 trailer, an upcoming movie featuring Bobby Deol in the leading role. The movie, produced by Shah Rukh Khan ‘s Red Chillies Entertainment, is directed by Atul Sabharwa & is scheduled for the streaming network release on August 21. Class of 83 also features actors like Annup Sonii, Joy Sengupta & Vishwajeet Pradhan. Movie is an on screen adaptation of a popular novel (Class of 83: The Punishers of Mumbai Police) by S. Hussain Zaidi, leading crime writer of India.
Movie features Bobby Deol as a police academy dean who wants to set up a underground squad of officers would be able to carry out the assassination, without limitation, of terrorists and gang members. Dialogues from the trailer are already a hit on the internet especially the one which says ‘sometimes to maintain order, one has to sacrifice the law’. Though in Bollywood we have previously seen similar tales, the handling of this Red Chillies entertainment’s film seems smooth.
The trailer was shared on Twitter by Shah Rukh Khan, who is also a producer of the movie. Director Atul Sabharwal stated that this was a really involving project and the entire team helped to revive the eighties, which was a tremendous challenge. Audience will see Bobby like they never saw before, and the performance of the entire cast is awesome.
