Sumeet Vyas is in the role of Yudhveer Singh and he is a live example of everything evil happening in the series. Vyas is a great actor but every time he comes on screen people expect him to say something funny. He has been paired with Nidhi Singh yet again but their chemistry and characters feel completely wasted.
The females shown on the screen have a little or no character trajectory. The character who stands out in the web series is Inspector Abhimanyu Singh played by Jatin Sarna. His presence brings relief to a mismanaged plot. The costumes, background music and the set reflect the colours of Rajasthan beautifully.
The mystery factor continues till the end of the series. The web series directly comes to the point which can be seen in the trailer as well and the first episode keeps one hooked from the minute it starts. There are two homosexuals in the lead but they are not typecasted and are considered to be normal individuals leading their lives. This shows that a lot of work has been done on inclusivity.
There are many problematic sequences like reservation and a woman lying about sexual harassment. The topic selection is not a problem. However, the real problem lies in a complete out of context and detailed analysis of such issues. Even if inclusivity has been done but modern ideas like toxic masculinity, feminism and homosexuality exist but they are not sustained till the end.
Yudhveer Singh’s character is portrayed as an evil genius. This, however, is far from true as he gets into unnecessary problems and comes out of them claiming himself to be the hero. If one expects viewers to take something like this seriously only because it is politics then it is very boring and insulting to watch.
Dark 7 White web series shows a doctored reality which is non-existent. No politician would stop their rallies to talk to protestors. After seeing this, we come to know that this politician is evil and rare. Dark 7 White Season 1 has mystery and suspense elements in its screenplay which are not new. There is no fresh idea shown in the climax which makes the web series quiet predictable.
