Kunal Kemmu is on roll as he is with the second of the Zee5 web series Abhay after delivering a blockbuster Lootcase. The season is more thrilling, bold and gripping as compared to the previous season. The series features Ram Kapoor, Chunky Pandey, Kunal Kemmu and Elnaaz Norouzri and is directed by B.P. Singh.
Right now, only two episodes from the web series have been released. The rest of the episodes will be released in the coming months. Every episode has a different story. In episode 1, we see murders of brilliant students who are kidnapped a few days before the exams, episode 2 is about murders in the city and a sex worker and episode 3 is about kidnappings of school children and the chain continues.
All the episodes have different stories and Abhay Pratap Singh is the only familiar character in all the episodes as an investigating officer. After watching the web series, we will get to know how he solves the cases.
The actors and star cast of this season are much better than the previous season. Chunky Pandey has undergone a complete change and does an excellent job in episode 1. Ram Kapoor is seen in episodes 2 and 3 and he is equally brilliant. Asha Negi is good in episode 2 and all the other star cast has done an outstanding job in lifting the web series.
The writing and the story are also good. The cases this season are much more complex and the investigation is made tricky. The series has been well written and it keeps you hooked till the end.
The editing is done well and there is no nonsense shown. The episodes are to the point and short. The topics of the cases have been well researched, although some of the stories are unrealistic but they are watchable.
The series is much exciting and better than the previous season. If you have watched and loved the first season you will enjoy viewing the second season. However, if you are new to the series you cannot expect too many thrilling stories from the series as they are just an upgrade from Crime Patrol and CID series.
