The third track ‘Mausam’ resembles ‘Halka Halka’ from the film ‘Chocolate’. Shreya Ghoshal has beautifully rendered this song. It’s a seductive number and is a trademark of Pritam’s melody.
The fourth track of the music album ‘Haan Ji’ by Adnan Sami reminds of ‘Maaf Karo’ (Mission Kashmir). In this song, the entire family and friends get together in the movie. The song is not too good to listen to and could have been eliminated from the movie. ‘Meri Ek Ada Shola’ is a below-average track that does not at all seem to be composed by an able composer like Pritam.
Sunidhi Chauhan, Sukhwinder Singh and Akriti Kakkar have lent their vocals to this number and added Middle East touch to the song.
Pritam has dominated the year 2008 in the music industry. Music of Race, Jannat, Kismat Connection, Singh is King etc all have done extremely well. Sandeep has composed the first track of the album. The song ‘Mit Jaaye’ is a theme-based music track that is the highlight of the film. It has been effectively sung by Sandeep Vyas.
Now come Pritam and Mayur Puri into the picture. ‘Hey, Ya’ is another young and peppy soundtrack that will add another feather in the cap of Pritam. It has been sung by Suzy Q. It has been cinematographed amazingly.
