Singh Saab The Great is a great example of one man show. The movie takes us back to Sunny Deol of ’80s wherein almost every movie he played the character of an angry young man trying to reform the society. ‘Singh Saab The Great’ successfully delivers the Sunny punch and North India is going to be set ablaze with Sunny’s fire.

The highlight of the movie is Sunny Deol and he delivers an honest performance filled with certainty and conviction. Prakash Raj also delivers a strong performance while the rest of the star cast disappoints & performances could have been much better. Direction by Anil Sharma is masaledar as always & movie re-establishes Anil-Sunny Jodi as the most deadly combo. Gadar was the beginning of box office exploitation in Indian cinema and this new offering can set new benchmarks.

The movie portrays the tale of an honest collector Singh Saab(Sunny Deol) who get imprisoned in a false case of bribery crooked by Bhoodev (Prakash Raj). Then starts the sizzling saga of Singh Saab revenge which is to bring a change in the society itself. Though there is nothing much in the story but the screenplay has been excellent making full utilization of Sunny’s brilliance.  Dialogues are a strong highlight of the movie as they always have been in Anil Sharma movies.

If you are a die-hard Sunny fan, this movie can’t be missed otherwise you may consider other options.
