Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela Review
Despite the massive protests, Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-leela hit the theatres and with a massive impact. Ram-Leela mayn’t be Sanjay Leela Bhansali finest act but definitely one of his very best. Ram-leela is also the most commercial cinema attempted by SLB as a director. Movie depicts outstanding vision and exceptional artistry by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
As we know, the movie is inspired by Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. Set in the backdrop of Gujarat, the movie depicts the passionate love between Ram (Ranveer Singh) & Leela (Deepika Padukone) as well as the bloodiest battle between Rajadis and Saneras. The exceptional storytelling by SLB is also boosted by its musical score which is composed by him only. Choreography is marvellous and none of the songs is forcefully added into the plot. Background music by Monty Sharma is also outstanding. Deepika Padukone & Ranveer Singh justifies the trust entrusted by SLB and delivers their best act till date.
Goliyon Ki Rasleela – Ram Leela isn’t only worth watching but a masterpiece. This romantic saga is highly recommended.
