Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives review is a story of four Bollywood wives, their lives and friendships which goes back to 80s. The series is a scrapbook of film actress turned jewellery designer Neelam Kothari (married to Samir Soni), Maheep Kapoor (Sanjay Kapoor’s wife), Bhavna Pandey (wife of Chunky Pandey) and fashion designer Seema Sachdev Khan who is married to actor-director and producer and Sohail Khan.
There are many funny tales later which show that reality shows are famous for their catfights. Two of them are scripted very heavily. There is a verbal fight between Seema and Bhavana and Seema’ reaction comes from the fact that her friend has not sided with her in a silly incident. It seems like we are watching teenagers getting into a high school drama except for the fact that it is not a school.
They attended Le Bal Des Debutantes in Paris and Shanaya had to waltz with her dad and talk about the charity. Maheep is a good homemaker who is dominated by her husband at home and she rebukes her friends when provoked and signs them for whatever she likes in return. Then comes Neelam the naani. The former actress is confused about whether to go back to an actor life or continue with life away from the limelight.
She herself says that she wants money but does not want to go for auditions. There are many fillers and Botox talks involved in the show. Bhavana is calm and very superstitious. The Panday couple does not fly together because things can go wrong for their girl Ananya who has to wear nazar ka dhaga without any questions.
There is a lot of roasting seen in the series. Each of the lead actors subject each other to ruthless roasting. There are many humiliating statements in the series. The attempt of Uttam Domale, the filmmaker is funny and bold. The other side of nepotism has been explored but it soon loses flow because of exploring the undertone.
The stories lack depth and flow and towards the end, it looks like Four More Shots Please where ladies asked for shots in a bar in Doha. This shows that the series ran out of ideas. The stalker part also did not add up and the professional deal by Seema is a huge setback. Ananya, Nirvaan, Yohan, Jahaan and Shanaya are very natural.
The eight-part series cannot be summed up in a line which is why we have compiled Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives ratings for your convenience.
