Besharam Review
Besharam has been promoted and released on a massive scale with 4187 screens showcasing the movie worldwide. Irrespective of the critic review, the movie is expected to fare well in box office collection anyway.
Abhinav Kashyap returns with yet another masala flick. Movie banks on the stardom of Ranbir Kapoor with an added flavour of Rishi Kapoor & Neetu Singh in the star cast. Unlike Ranbir previous ventures, music isn’t a chart-buster but decent enough.
Ranbir portrays the character of a street smart car mechanic who also steals cars to financially support an orphanage where he grew up. Ranbir is outstanding yet again & plays his part with perfection. Pallavi Sharda is average and her chemistry with Ranbir doesn’t sizzle on the screen as desired. Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh are effortless but their characters could have been well crafted to utilize their calibre. Jaaved Jaaferi suits well in the negative role and delivers a powerful performance.
Besharam script is a huge letdown and doesn’t support the calibre of characters cast in the movie. Expectations were huge from Abhinav Kashyap but one can’t strike gold each time. On an overall its an average flick & a one time entertainer if you enjoy mindless flicks.

Ratings of movie have become a big business and movie makers seem to have been paying huge money in giving stars and also for not giving stars. All Khans’ movies are given four+ stars, even if their movies are “bakwas” and c-graded. No credibility of the persons giving these stars and they are giving it as their pockets are full. “Besharam” is better than any Khans’ movies recently released, whereas Taran Adarsh, bloody fool, has given one star to this movie and so are some other fools-anyway who cares these bloody fools. Ranvir Kapoor is a natural actor and any time a far better actor than any of these khans, and he has genuine fans much more than these Khans. Asking these star giving fools-how much you are paid for not giving stars or for making efforts downgrading movies of others.
