Bigg Boss 11 contestant Shilpa Shinde has been on quite a roll in the Bigg Boss house, however, she has been in the news for some controversial reasons. More notably for her nasty breakup with Romit Raj. The two were all set to get married but Shilpa called it off at the last moment. She also spoke about this issue in the Bigg Boss house to fellow contestant Puneesh Sharma and said that the invitations were also sent out but she felt that their differences in opinion could cause a rift in the long run.
Recently on the show, Shilpa’s mother entered the house to meet her daughter. After leaving the house she spoke to the media about why Shilpa had called off the marriage. She was quoted saying “Romit had proposed to her and my daughter had accepted his proposal. But after some time, they realized they had different opinions. In fact, both families were also very different”.
Romit, however, went on to marry Tina Kakkar, a media personality and now has a daughter with her. Shilpa, on the other hand, is one of the strongest contenders in the Bigg Boss 11 house and also India’s most favourite inmate in the show.
