After the release of Netflix’s first Indian Original series called Sacred Games. It received a lot of praise but also a political mess. The controversy began when Nawaz called Rajeev Gandhi a ‘Phattu’ on the show which was translated as ‘P****’.
Son Rahul Gandhi came to his defence and filed a petition in Delhi High Court against Netflix to remove the scene.
The show has also gained a lot of limelight due to its bold scenes and bold use of language. Sacred Games is based on Vikram Chandra’s novel with the same name. The show has been directed by Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane.
