The popular TV show ‘Bepannah’ had come to a standstill during their shoot when a massive fire broke out on the set at Cinevista Studios on Jan 8. The incident took away the life of an audio assistant named Gopi Varma, the cast and crew have been traumatized due to this incident even till today.
Sehban Azim, playing the role of Yash in the show said, “We had started off on a positive note, and this incident changed everything. Cinevista took good care of the family [of Varma]. We are glad about that. We’ve started shooting at Film City and in Vasai. I suppose they are still looking into certain compliance issues at Cinevista, but I’m not sure.”
His role is also not a very long role on the show, as he loses his life. When asked why he still chose to do the character he says, “My character has sufficient depth. I share a complicated equation with two women in the show. Sufficient detailing has gone into writing the role.”
