A new dramatic angle to Sridevi sudden death which has left the whole nation stunned. The Government of Dubai, said on Monday that the ‘Bollywood actress died of accidental drowning, not cardiac arrest, in her hotel bathtub’. The Dubai police stated this news, on their official twitter handle.
“Following the completion of post-mortem analysis, Dubai police headquarters today stated that the death of the Indian actress Sridevi occurred due to drowning in her hotel apartment’s bathtub following the loss of consciousness,” the Government of Dubai, said on Twitter. The 54-year-old actor, known as the Indian film industry’s first woman superstar, died in a Dubai hotel room on Saturday night.
After the Dubai police’s statement, which said, that the actress was under the influence of alcohol. She fell into the bathtub and drowned. Taslima Nasreen took to twitter and said, “Healthy adults don’t drown in bathtubs accidentally”.
