Actress Smriti Khanna and Gautam Gupta are all set to tie the knot on the 23rd of November and her fans are eagerly waiting and excited to know the details of their grand affair.
When asked to share more light on the grand affair, the gorgeous bride to be said, “The Preparations are still going on. Just 20 days ago we decided the theme of our wedding to be a traditional wedding or else we were just planning to go for a court one. But our family members wanted to see us get married, so we bowed down to their request,” said Smriti. “It’s a mix of all emotions as there’s too much to do but very little time.”
The reception gown will be designed by Falguni and Shane. Gautam’s wedding outfit would be from Masaba Gupta’s collection. It’s going to be a small number of people with about just 80-100 people.
While Gautam had proposed to Smriti for marriage at Goa which is the ideal destination, the wedding has been set up in Mumbai.
The couple wanted to go for a ‘black tie’ theme initially. But, there were people who preferred traditional wear so the theme is Traditional Attires.
The two are still thinking about it but nothing has been finalized. They say they do need a breather and will probably be heading to some beautiful locations during Christmas. It will be Europe or Maldives.
“It was such a classy surprise for me planned by my friends. I had actually no time for anything but my friends forced to have a hen’s party and it was indeed such fun, ” said Smriti.
They do not have time for it at all. May have a post-wedding photo-shoot though.
