Celebrity chat show host Simi Grewal, tweeted after actress Sridevi’s sudden death. She found a bit of similarity between the death of famous American singer Whitney Houston, who also died due to drowning in the bathtub after drug intoxication and so did Sridevi on Saturday.
Sridevi died at the Jumeirah Emirates Tower Hotel, in the bathtub of room number 2201. The Dubai police stated that there was no clear criminal motive with regards to her death, neither did she suffer a cardiac arrest.
Sridevi had gone to Dubai to attend the wedding of her Nephew Mohit Marwah. After the function was over, her husband few backs to India. Later, when he went back to Dubai for a surprise dinner is when the incident took place.
