Siddharth Malhotra and Ekta Kapoor are now teaming up for their second film together after a successful hit Ek Villain. The new film is titled Shotgun Shaadi, which revolves around the groom kidnapping issue in Bihar. This is a very common phenomenon in Bihar known as ‘Pakadua Vivah’. This process is done by the bride’s family to avoid dowry. Sid is playing the role of a thug.
Sid will be seen in a different avatar for this film. A source reported, “Sid will be putting on weight for the film, but only in the form of muscle. He wants to have a fit and toned physique for Shotgun Shaadi. He has been gymming consistently and has also taken to aqua exercises for the same. He has hired a language coach who’s helping him learn a Bihari dialect and get the accent right,”.
