After Priyadarshan and Preity Zinta, it’s turning for another start join the crowd of all those from the film fraternity who are against ‘Slumdog Millionaire.’ Shilpa Shetty is the next one to join that league. She has also given the same reason as the other two that Danny Boyle has shot the grim picture of India and especially that of Mumbai.
She also told the media that there is much more to India than poverty and hunger. According to too her, India is a land of cultural diversity and the world should see that India is actually very beautiful. She also revealed that she is playing a role in a movie that depicts the bright side of our country and not just about slums. She opines that the West is always keen and rather enjoys watching slum life of India but our country has achieved so much that it can no longer be portrayed as a poor country where people are unemployed and ready to kill each other for money.
