The nine-year-old child actor of Slumdog Millionaire’, Rubina Ali, has seen it all from Mumbai slums to the scintillating global award ceremony, Oscars. Now, she is on her way to chronicle her stupendous journey in a memoir, which is scheduled to be released on July 2009.
The autobiography named ‘Slumdog Dreaming: My Journey to the Stars’ will portray Rubina’s real-life journey from slums to stars in the sky. The autobiography is to be published by the publishers, TransWorld’, who are based in London. The Chronicle will be released in the United States and the United Kingdom simultaneously on July 16, 2009.
In this autobiography, Rubina has described how her life got transformed; how she used to play with his friends near the sewer line of Garib Nagar; and how she then acted in the film and walked the red carpet of Oscars.
