Mahima Chaudhary who made her Bollywood debut in the famous film ‘Pardes’ with Shah Rukh Khan. After which she also was seen in other films like Baghban, Dil Kya Kare, Dhadkan, Sandwich, Dil Hai Tumhara, to name a few. However, since the past few years, the actress went missing from the town of Bollywood. The beauty from the ’90s was almost forgotten, until a recent picture of her went viral, where she looks completely unrecognizable. It is almost impossible to believe it is that same girl who sang and danced on ‘I Love My India.’
When asked, about why she is away from the films, she said “the industry does not offer good roles to the mid-aged actresses and Thus, she decided to part away from it. She added, “I was a single mother and had to earn money. With a child, it was difficult for me to take up films, as it would consume a lot of my time. I started judging a few television shows, making appearances at functions or cutting ribbons because it was convenient for me. It also gave me quick and good money. Now, when I look back, I think those assignments ruined my career as an actress. She also added that she would formalize her divorce with Bobby Mukherji only after she gets a new partner. Well, we wonder if the filmmakers are listening to this and would now want to rope in this talented actress with some interesting projects.
