Kapil Sharma is all set to get back to the Big Screen with a new film Titled Firangi. He shared the first motion poster of his film, where he’s dressed as a cop kicking a ‘firangi’ out of the frame literally. The film seems to be a comic take on India’s Independence movement. The film is produced by Kapil Sharma’s production house called “K9 Films” and Directed by Rajiv Dhingra, who was also the creative director of His hit television series The Kapil Sharma Show. Rajiv has also directed Amarinder gill in Love Punjab, who is a Punjabi superstar. Looks like Kapil Sharma and his team are getting back in form for show time.
For those of you waiting for his return on the hit Television show, The Kapil Sharma Show may have to wait for a while since there have been no updates about it. Kapil’s comedy show was taken off air by the channel temporarily due to his ill-health, but has now regained form and is reportedly pulling his act together. Kapil started heavy drinking after his mid-air fight with then co-star Sunil Grover but a source close to the actor told DNA that Kapil has checked out of rehab before his scheduled time. Firangi also stars other actors Ishita Dutta, Monica Gill and Raju Srivastava. The film is expected to be released on November 24. Firangi is Kapil Sharma’s second film after the Kis Kis Ko Pyaar Karoon.
