The director of Jia Aur Jia Howard Rosemeyer revealed that the two actresses Kalki Koechlin and Richa Chadha while they shoot, once agreed to sleep in a van for their upcoming film as they finished work late in the night and had an early shoot in the morning.
The cast and crew worked at remote locations during their shoot of the film in Sweden.
While shooting, both Kalki and Richa had suggested that they would not mind sleeping in the van, since they had to shoot a sunrise shot and didn’t want to waste time in travelling like the rest of the crew was doing the same.
“It was a pleasure to shoot with both the ladies who truly are the stars of the film. I was surprised when Kalki and Richa suggested that they are Ok with sleeping in the van instead of going back to the hotel late at night. I haven’t seen actresses who are so professional and so adjusting,” said Rosemeyer.
‘Jia Aur Jia’ is the first girl bonding road trip film. It features Kalki playing a fun character and Richa’s character is more of an introvert, having one thing in common is their name, Jia.
