Irrfan Khan, who shared screen space with Deepika Padukone in the critically acclaimed movie ‘Piku’,2015, is all set to unite in a forthcoming venture by Vishal Bhardwaj’s which is an adaptation based on S Hussain Zaidi’s book ‘Mafia Queens of Mumbai’. The book is based upon the life of Ashraf Khan who is also known as ‘Sapna Didi’. The book also shines a light on the lives of some of the women and how they were able to dodge their way up in a time which was certainly a man’s world during the terror of underworld.
While a senior journalist, spoke to Irrfan about his experience of working with Deepika in Piku, He said, “This name, Deepika Padukone, it does something to me. I like her very much, as a human being, as an actor. I still remember when we did Piku, we never interacted that much before shooting. But we used to interact while shooting and I used to see her spontaneous response to my thing.”
The talented actors have created magic on the screen when worked previously, and we expect that the same to happen again.
