Hardik Pandya, an Indian allrounder, had dropped in surprise news for all his fans on social media on 31st May 2020. He said that he and his wife Natasha Stankovic are ready to welcome their first child. He posted a picture that clearly states both of them have already got married.
The photo showed both of them wearing varmala while performing the ceremony. On the occasion of New Year, the cricketer had announced his engagement with the Serbian actress. He had managed to keep this news a secret just like his engagement.
Hardik Pandya revealed the news on Instagram by writing “Natasa and I have had a great journey together and it is just about to get better 😊 Together we are excited to welcome a new life into our lives very soon. We’re thrilled for this new phase of our life and seek your blessings and wishes 🙏.”
The all-rounder has not played for India since last year in September. He had gone through a successful surgery in October 2019 for acute lower back injury. The injury was bothering him since the 2018 Asian Cup. He was nominated for India A squad for one-day games in New Zealand in December.
His name was however removed as he was not match-ready. He returned to action in the DY Patil T20 tournament in March. He impressed everyone by scoring two centuries and picking up five wickets in the tournament. He was also named in India’s squad for South Africa ODI but the series was called off due to coronavirus.
