Actress Kangana Ranaut has said on 17th October 2020 that a new FIR has been filed against her by Shiv Sena in Mumbai. Kangana says that the government has some kind of obsession with her because of which the FIR has been filed. The actress shared photographs of her Navratri look on her Twitter account and reacted sarcastically against the state government.
A Mumbai court has asked city police to inquire against the complaint registered in the name of Kangana Ranaut and Rangoli Chandel, her sister for spreading falsehood and communal hatred. The order by 12th Court Magistrate in Bandra Jaidev Ghule is in response to a plea by Munawwarali or Sahil A Sayyed who is a casting director of Bollywood as per his lawyer Ravish F Zamindar.
Sayyed has accused Kangana and Rangoli of tainting the image of Bollywood and showing all the people working in the industry in a bad light through her claims of nepotism, drug addiction, communal biases and has also tried to create a quarrel between artists of different communities, insulting religions and calling them murderers on social media and the public statements.
