Many Bollywood actors and cricketers have come forward to support the irritated and angry farmers who are protesting at Delhi borders because of three farm laws passed by the Union Government. The actors have strongly protested the use of water and force on farmers by Haryana Police.
Congress MLA Navjot Singh Sidhu, Harbhajan Singh, actor and singer Diljit Dosanjh, Sonu Sood, popular comedian Kapil Sharma and singer and rapper have supported the farmers through their tweets and posts. Actress Tapsee Pannu also posted a satiric tweet and shared photos of farmers facing water canons. Popular actress Simi Garewal also posted a photo of farmers along with a hashtag for farmers.
Ammy Virk, a Punjabi singer and England based cricketer Monty Panesar also posted about the plight of farmers. Swara Bhasker also posted a photo of farmers facing water cannons and tweeted about this act of the police. Jazzy B is also supporting the farmers and is asking all the actors and Punjabi singers to come forth and support the farmers.
Singers Tarsem Jassar and Ranjit Bawa are helping the teams serving langar to protesting farmers in Delhi. Harf Cheema and Kanwar Grewal are camping with farmers in the Delhi protest.
