Actress Asin, the famous of Ghajini, is back home in Kerala post-Ghajini. Now, she is busy preparing for Bharath Bala’s multi-lingual The 19th Steps, which will be shot in the later part of 2009.
She is learning martial arts, steps of Kalarippayattu, for the film. This form of martial arts is the traditional art form of the state and recognized as a male bastion. Asin is quite excited about the project. She made her debut in the Indian film industry with a Malayalam movie, Narendran Makan Jayakanthan Vaka, which was released in 2001.
She was just 15 years old when she began showing her acting prowess in Tamil and Telugu movies. However, she got her first success in Bollywood with Ghajini, starring opposite none other than Mr Perfectionst of Bollywood, Aamir Khan.
