Badrinath ki dulhaniya duo Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan are all set to fly their way to the moon. Yes, you read that right “fly to the moon”. Not in a sense but for a campaign video on Clean City Initiative by Adar Poonawalla. The video released today and a nice still was shared by Dharma Productions from the sets – both Alia and Varun are seen in astronaut outfits. After the sneak peeks, Alia shared it on Twitter saying: “Our planet. Our home! Our duty to keep it clean.” After all, the motto is: “Badlega scene jab Duniya hogi clean.”
This is how the storyline goes for the new campaign video. Varun and Alia fly to the moon as astronauts, landing for an expedition. But things take a turn after Varun throws trash of chocolate wrapper on the moon. Alia takes off for Earth leaving Varun stranded on the moon as his punishment for throwing the trash.
