Actor Sanjay Dutt on October 21 has announced that he has emerged victorious from the cancer battle and thanked his well-wishers and fans for supporting him in their journey throughout. The actor shared the news on Twitter on the occasion of his children’s birthday Iqra and Shahraan who turned ten on October 21.
The news has arrived after a family source has said that the actor is giving a positive response while being treated for cancer. Sanjay Dutt has said in August that he will be taking a break from work to undergo medical treatment and then the news came that he was suffering from lung cancer.
The actor thanked his family and friends as well as the hospital staff of Mumbai hospital for supporting him and helping him face a difficult time with courage and strength. The actor last starred in Sadak 2 and shared about his cancer diagnosis for the first time in an Instagram video shared by Aalim Hakim, a celebrity hairstylist.
Dutt will now be shooting for his next film KGF: Chapter 2 in November. The movie stars Yash in a lead role and marks Kollywood debut of Sanjay Dutt.
