Padmavati could be a blockbuster for this year, the film has finally released after all the protests in 2017 against the movie. The film is breaking all records on its opening day. It is also looking to set records for January. The film has been given a solo release by postponing Padman by Akshay Kumar, which is now going to release on Feb 9th.
The early estimates suggest the collection made by Padmavati is about 17-19 crores. The long weekend because of the republic day celebration may have helped the film make such a collection. It is surely a hit film after all the drama that it went through.
