Kareena Kapoor Khan and Aamir Khan starrer Laal Singh Chaddha will now be releasing on Christmas 2021. The movie is an official remake of Tom Hanks 1994 film Forrest Gump which was to be released this year on December 25.
The film production is still not finished. The Chief Operating Officer of Viacom 18 Studios said that the team is now focusing on completing the movie.
Advait Chandan who had previously directed Secret Superstar is directing the film from the script written by actor and writer Atul Kulkarni. The project is bankrolled by Aamir Khan Productions and Viacom18 Motion Pictures.
The music is composed by Pritam and Amitabh Bhattacharya has worked on the lyrics. Aamir Khan who was last seen in Thugs of Hindostan announced this movie on his birthday in March 2019.
