The 10-day shoot of Rakul Preet and Arjun Kapoor untitled film started on Monday. It is one of the very few films which has resumed shooting after lockdown. The schedule has been kickstarted by John Abraham and Aditi Rao Hydari who are in the role of Arjun’s grandparents in the movie. The movie is set in 1947, around the time when India got independence.

Aditi plays the love interest of John and the younger version of Neena’s character, Arjun’s grandmother. John and Aditi will shoot their part for a week during the indoor schedule. They will then reunite with the team for a brief outdoor shoot in October.

John is producing the film with Bhushan Kumar and Nikkhil Advani said, “When I heard the script, I instantly knew that this would be a special part, and when Kaashvie suggested I play it, it was difficult to refuse.”

The film is still untitled and directed by Kaashvie Nair and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Divya Khosla Kumar under T-Series, Madhu Bhojwani, Monisha Advani and Nikkhil Advani under Emmay Entertainment and John Abraham under JA Entertainment.
