Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl will be streaming on Netflix from today. Critics have applauded the drama for its restrained storytelling and treatment. Jahnvi has shared a picture on her Instagram account when she first met real IAF pilot Gunjan Saxena. The caption was very simple. It read as “First Meeting.” (sic).
Kapoor has shared another post which is from a movie still and wrote how she will always feel honored to wear an IAF uniform. In an interview, Kapoor talked about being trolled online and how she is still not out of it. She said, “I haven’t made my peace with it. I hope it’s not something that I have to deal with every release.”
Gunjan Saxena is directed by Sharan Sharma and stars Manav Vij, Pankaj Tripathi, Viineet Kumar and Angad Bedi in pivotal roles. The film was to be released on March 6 and then it was pushed to April 24 and its finally releasing on August 12 on Netflix due to COVID 19 lockdown. Kapoor has many other films lined up for the release.
She will be seen in Dostana 2 with Kartik Aaryan, a film where two men fall in love with each other. She is also in Karan Johar’s directed Takht, which will also include Bhumi Pednekar, Vicky Kaushal, Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Anil Kapoor. The movie will be released on December 24, 2021.
