Abhishek Chaubey’s Udta Punjab was released four years back on June 17, 2016. Diljit Dosanjh who made his Bollywood debut with the multistarrer said that he learned a lot from the movie. He shared a clip from the film and captioned it as “Baut kuch seekha es film se. (Learned a lot from this film). Thx To My Fav. The film had also featured Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Shahid Kapoor move around drug abuse by the Punjab youth. The movie faced a lot of criticism from the Central Board of Film Certification or CBFC. The producers finally released the film with 89 cuts.
Diljit’s latest movie Good Newwz will be re-released in Dubai after the theatres reopen for gaining normalcy after COVID 19 pandemic. The movie stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani shows the two couples who are trying to have a baby through IVF.
