Dharmendra Deol on 30th May 2020 posted a video on Twitter from the 70s film Mera Naam Joker and said that he was fortunate to work with the legendary actor. He tweeted with the video, “It was a dream to work with Raj sahab.”
Mera Naam Joker featured Raj Kapoor and Dharmendra Deol together for the first time. It was a celebrated film by Kapoor. He won 11 Filmfare trophies, three National Awards and was awarded Dadasaheb Phalke and Padma Bhushan.
Raj Kapoor established his very own RK studio at a very young age. He debuted as a director with Aag and was the youngest director of his time to do so.
