Bollywood Build Pressure For CBI Enquiry Of Sushant Death

Celebrity support continues to come in for the CBI probe in the Sushant Singh Rajput case with Rashami Desai and joining in the social media campaign with many others from the entertainment industry. 

“There really can be no peace without justice. There can be no justice without truth. And there can be no truth, unless someone rises up to tell you the truth ~ Louis Farrakhan. Justice will prevail. Truth always wins #GlobalPrayersForSSR #JusticeforSSR #CBIforSSR,” Urvashi tweeted on Saturday. 

Rashami Desai also posted an Instagram story demanding justice and CBI inquiry for Sushant Singh Rajput’s case. Karan Wahi posted a picture of his with Sushant and wrote, My friend.. U will Always be in our prayers.” Karan had tagged the post with #prayerforsushant #cbiforsushant #globalprayers4ssr.

Many Bollywood stars including Kangana Ranaut, Varun Dhawan, Kriti Sanon and Parineeti Chopra had posted to support a social media campaign demanding a CBI probe from the past few days. Actor Siddhant Chaturvedi also asked for “#CBIInquiryforSushant” and Mouni Roy followed the same. 

Gulshan Devaiah had tweeted, “No hashtags, no finger-pointing, no conclusions. I really hope & pray that the matter around the tragic passing of Sushant Singh Rajput comes to a decisive conclusion. How we “feel” is less important than true, unbiased justice!! Justice for the sake of Justice & nothing else.”

CBI inquiry demands have been followed by the video posted by Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti asking for a CBI investigation in his death. The post shows her holding a placard that read, “I am sister of Sushant Singh Rajput and I request for #CBIforSSR.”

After her post, Kangana Ranaut also posted a video asking for a CBI investigation in Sushant’s case which was followed by Sushant’s ex-girlfriend Ankita Lonkhande and Kriti Sanon also lent her support to the family. 

Sushant passed away on June 14 at his Bandra apartment in Mumbai. His family had lodged an FIR that accused his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and her family with abetment to suicide and other charges.
