Actor Aamir Khan had denied that he had placed 15,000 rupees in wheat bags which were distributed in slum areas in Delhi through a tweet on 4th May. He wrote “Guys, I am not the person putting money in wheat bags. Its either a fake story completely, or Robin Hood doesn’t want to reveal himself! Stay safe. Love.”
A user on TikTok had revealed that Aamir Khan had placed Rs. 15,000 for distribution in a slum area in Delhi. After the video went viral, people started praising the generosity of the actor.
After the coronavirus outbreak, the actor had contributed to the PM CARES fund and Maharashtra CM Relief Fund. He had also extended a helping hand to the daily wage workers of his upcoming movie Laal Singh Chadda which stars Kareena Kapoor Khan.
