Actor Poonam Pandey has finally spoken about the complaint she had filed against husband Sam Bombay. The actor got married to Sam in a private ceremony in Goa and filed an assault complaint while they were on their honeymoon at Goa. Poonam had said that Sam had been violent and possessive about her even before marriage but she thought that things will change after marriage.
Now the actress has decided not to go back to her husband. She described what happened in Goa in detail as follows, “Sam and I had an argument, which escalated, and he began hitting me. He choked me and I thought I was going to die.” She also said that she was punched, pulled by the hair and pinned against the wall. She was pinned down and assaulted. She somehow managed to escape and file the complaint post which her husband was taken away by the cops.
The actress has appeared in Hindi, Telugu and Kannada movies whereas Sam Bombay is a film producer who has directed music videos like Gal Ban Gayi and Befikra. The complaint was filed by the actress in Goa on Monday night.
