Since Thursday after he took on actress Kangana Ranaut on Twitter, Punjabi actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh has become the talk of the town. It all started when Team Kangana tweeted that the 82 year old Bilkis Bano, popularly identified as Shaheen Bagh Dadi, was also part of the ongoing protest by farmers. Kangana Ranaut in her tweet mentioned that Bano, who was also featured in TIME magazine, could be employed by paying 100 rupees. Kangana had to delete that tweet later on after it was pointed out to him that 2 womens aren’t identical. However damage was done and Diljit Dosanjh lost his cool over the remarks. Diljit responded with a BBC featured video of Mahinder Kaur (mistakenly identified by Kangana as Bilkis Bano) whereby she raised her concerns over the farmer’s bill. Diljit in her post mentioned that Kangana shall look at proof & shouldn’t act so blindly making any statements.

Things turned absolutely uglier afterwards as Kangana lost her cool & made stunning remarks on Diljit calling him Karan Johar’s pet. She mentioned that she doesn’t know Mahinder Kaur & its Bilkis Bano only who was seen protesting for farmers.

Diljit responded to the tweet mentioning that going by Kangana’s own logic, she is a pet of everyone she has ever worked with. In that sense her list is too long as compared to him. He mentioned that she knows the art of instigating & playing with the utter emotions of individuals.

Diljit didn’t stop there and he made another tweet that she is messing with Punjab and this isn’t Bollywood. The amount of drama which you put on only Punjabi’s can deal with you.

To this Kangana Ranaut in her usual fashion, replied that she will teach a lesson to bootlickers like him. She mentioned that if anyone can prove that Bilkis Banu wasn’t seen spotted supporting farmers agitation, she will apologize.
Diljit continued from here and posted that he doesn’t beg for work in bollywood and instead bollywood only approached him to work in movies. He raised serious objection to her Rs 100 remark mentioning that despite being a woman herself, she is talking such nonsense.

This continued and still continues and no one knows where it will end. It is totally disgusting to see role models engaged in such open war & specially the choice of words :(. It’s not about who is right or wrong but being a celebrity one needs to speak and write with immense sensibility.
