There has been a lot of debate around when Junaid, son of Aamir Khan will make his debut in Bollywood. If the rumours are to be believed, he will be debuting in the remake of a Malayalam film Ishq which deals with moral policing and will be directed by Special 26 filmmaker Neeraj Pandey.
Junaid has been studying filmmaking in the US. He has already acted in few theatrical plays such as Quasar Thakore Padamsee’s Mother Courage & her Children as well as Ira Khan’s Medea. Juniad is the elder son of Aamir from his previous marriage with Reena Dutta and has also assisted director Rajkumar Hirani on the sets of PK. Aamir has also worked in a movie named Ishq directed by Indra Kumar alongwith Ajay Devgn, Kajol and Juhi Chawla.
Aamir had previously said that his son is more willing to take up theatres than movies. He has also cleared that if his son wants to enter the film line he has to audition and go through the complete process of getting films.
Junaid has been active in theatre for more than four years and has done two years of theatre and training in American Academy of Dramatic Arts in LA and he also did plays for one year in the institute.
