Unkahee is about six people who have been captured secretly by police for serial killings in Delhi. Will it be easy to catch the real culprit if all the six plead not guilty? This can be known only after watching the movie.
After the IG shares proof of their links with the crime, Shergil gives them 12 hours to think and decide who can be the murderer amongst them. All of them naturally deny committing these crimes but as the fear crops up, they start blaming each other. Within the restricted time frame will these six help the cops in catching the real criminal?
In the first scene, we are given a brief introduction of all the six characters who were missing and have been brought together in a single roof by a policeman. All six have different personalities. Tia Sharma featuring Anupriya Goenka is a regional manager in South Delhi, Santosh Hooda played by Sehban Azim is a rich Haryanvi lad, Krish Malhotra featuring Ayushmaan Saxena is a druggie, Abhimanyu Mathur played by Hiten Tejwani is an investment banker. Roshan Kher featuring Ashwin Mushran is having a troubled marriage while Deepak Mehra played by Ravi Khemu is a customer relationship manager in the telecom industry.
All the six have been provided proof that they are the murderers. Will the ongoing discussion lead to any fruitful result or the blame game will continue till the end can be known only after watching the film. Unkahee is a suspense thriller with a twist directed and written by newcomer Anushree Mehta who has put in great efforts to make the narrative gripping.
Santosh and his Haryanvi twang give a small amount of humour to the ongoing discussion. Two sensible people featuring Anupriya Goenka and Hiten Tejwani who just want to get out of the case have also given a good performance. Rest of the cast has been provided with only a few dialogues and perform well according to the script. Unkahee keeps you guessing about the climax till it unfolds. However, if you love a good suspense thriller then this one is only average. Compare Unkahee movie ratings on multiple platforms & decide yourself.
