Netflix India recently launched A Suitable Boy Trailer. 6 part web series is an official on screen adaptation of Vikram Seth’s best selling novel by same name. Streaming rights for A Suitable Boy web series was originally acquired by BBC & has already aired in UK & Ireland whereby the reception was quite overwhelming. Web series is written by Andrew Davies, directed by Mira Nair while produced by Lydia Dean Pilcher & Aradhana Seth. A Suitable Boy features an intense starcast including Tabu, Ishaan Khatter, Tanya Maniktala, Ram Kapoor & Rasika Dugal. Series will start streaming on Netflix India from 23rd October onwards.
A Suitable Boy trailer portrays Tanya Maniktala as Lata, a young girl who is dreaming about marrying. She is pressurized by her mother to choose from multiple suitors. Ishaan Khatter plays the character of Maan, the son of a politician & is madly attracted to a courtesan named Saeeda Bai (portrayed by Tabu).
